It is with sadness and sorrow to announce passing of Aisha Kaka(Tilly), Wife of Ebrahim Kaka who passed away here in Toronto after a battling sickness. May Allah Forgive her shortcomings and grant her place in Jannah. May Allah give her family strength and sabr to deal with their loss. Aameen
Her Funeral will be at madina Masjid after Zohar (1PM). Her Burial will be in Thornton Cemetery, 1200 Thornton Rd. In Oshawa. Dua for the deceased is requested
Friday October 19, 2018:
KHC held a Seniors get-together at Leaside Arena. The event was attended by about 100 Seniors from our community and invited guests. The pictures will be posted on Pictures page soon
Winter has arrived here and some of us are travelling to warm places for Holidays and going back home to spend few weeks in Kholvad. Have a Safe journey and enjoy your holidays, inshaAllah.
August 2018: The outdoor party was enjoyed by about 250 people in balmy weather. Pictures n videos were posted on Kholvad facebook
April 2018: Kholvad House of Canada AGM was held on April 14th, 2018 at Shalimar Restaurant. Three new members were acclaimed in the new committee please check Executives page for list

- Kholvad House of Canada has made donation towards Rohingya’s plight in Myanmar.
- $5000 donation to Islamic Society of Toronto towards new building for Mosque
- Has sponsored three girls from our community who are travelling to Malaysia through Islamic Relief of Canada to help children of Rohingya families in refugee camps. We wish them safe journey.
- Names of these girls are Lubna Vepari, Fatema Mulla and Alviya Vawda
